Episode 76- Andrew Ginsberg (Blacked Out on a Zoom Call)

This week I am joined by great comedian and co-producer of the Village Idiot comedy show, Andrew Ginsberg. We talk about him starting out in the improv community before switching to stand up, growing up with city parents in rural country, the underground counter culture of stand up during the pandemic, and just a lot about our experiences in comedy in New York.

With Andrew being over a year sober from booze he has plenty of EX Drinking Buddy stories that got him there; starting to drink in 7th grade, partying all through high school and college featuring a hybrid drug we dubbed “Molly-esque”, blacking out a lot (including on a zoom call with friends), and we end on the two stories that lead to his current sobriety.
